Road Directorate of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is registered in the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo on October 28th, 2002 on the basis of the Law on Roads of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Official Gazette of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, No. 6/02) under which Directorate of FBH is authorized to manage the main road infrastructure in the Federation of BH. The Road Directorate of FBH is a legal successor of the Republic Social Fund for Roads of BH.

The Road Directorate of FBH harmonized its form of organization, title, company and activities with the Law on Public Companies (“Official Gazette of FBH”, No. 8/05) and it operates today under the title “Public company Road Directorate of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, limited liability company, Sarajevo”.
